For nine years

I’m Mac, the Love and Comfort Officer Emeritus at the RMHFW. My full name is McLovin’ but I like to be called Mac.

I am a non-shedding Australian Labradoodle born in The Woodlands, TX in 2010. Lone Star Labradoodles hand-picked me for the job at the RMHFW, and I LOVED what I did for nine years. In November 2019, I officially retired from my duties but happily share all my experiences with the House’s new Love and Comfort Officer, Chief, who began his duties in December 2019. Chief lives with me and I love him dearly.

I came to work every day at the House just like my co-workers and my job was to give love and comfort to anyone who needed it. It made me feel really good when I could make a child smile or giggle. Sometimes they just needed to pet me or hug me, which I loved as well. I’ll visit occasionally but am enjoying a much-needed rest and lots of relaxation.
