Offering support to the whole family when their child is seriously ill.
Families with seriously ill or injured children often stay in the Fort Worth area for extended periods.
The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth offers a “home-away-from-home” at little or no cost, keeping families close to their hospitalized child. We have 57 family bedrooms, and plenty of amenities that provide a caring, comfortable atmosphere for families.
Our House is built on the simple idea that families shouldn’t worry about where to stay, eat, or rest when their child is in the hospital. We know that family support is vital during a child’s hospitalization.
Volunteers and donors make our work possible. Families either stay for free or are asked to contribute $20 per day if possible.
Each family has a private bedroom for the duration of their stay.
Each of our private suites also offers a full private bathroom.
Our House provides warm meals daily for our guests in our community kitchen.
Our Home offers a private laundry area for your use anytime.
We always have staff on-site to help with whatever needs your may have.
To be considered for the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth families must have a child receiving pediatric treatment at a Fort Worth area hospital who is 21 years or younger. Please visit with a hospital social worker for more information and to begin the referral process.
Once the referral has been made, the family will need to contact RMHFW to discuss availability.
Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
