From Patient to Donor.

Evan is one of the many heroes who save the day for RMHFW families through their steadfast support.

Evan’s Story.

Evan Knight was five years old when she started experiencing severe pain in her ankles. At age seven, she was tested for Leukemia and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Thankfully, all tests came back clear.

After overcoming such a challenging experience, Evan knew she wanted to help families going through similar times. Evan was inspired when her mom told her about what the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth (RMHFW) does for critically ill children and their families when traveling far from home to receive medical treatment.

As soon as she was able to, Evan found a way to donate to RMHFW.

Evan earns money by doing chores, like washing the dishes or tidying up the living room. Every month, she donates the money that she earns to the Ronald McDonald House to support kiddos like her.

Evan is one of the many heroes who save the day for our families through their steadfast support. Like Evan, your generosity ensures that every family who walks through our doors has a place to stay, meals, and supportive services during their child’s medical crisis.
